05 Audi A6 which insurance?
Hi, I own a 2005 Audi A6 value of 20,000 and live in colorado ft collins, i can only spend 150USD per month for insurance and can choose between comprehensive and collision coverage, which one is better to go for?
You want to have both on a car that new. They cover different types of loss and often if you have a loan you will be required to have both.
your comprhensive coverage is also known as “other than collision” and covers things like hail, theft animal damage etc, your collision covers your car if you are in an accident.
In Colorado you are just as likely to have hail damage as get into an accident…with out comp if your car were damaged in a hail storm and windows broken, and severe damage to the body of the car, with out that you would have no coverage.
your best option is to call around to different carriers and just get quotes….try Travelers, they have decent rates in colorado, but also try some of the others such as progressive, maybe geico and esurance….you should be able to cover your car for less than 150 per month unless you have alot of activity on your mvr, or are very young….
